It’s Time for Fun - in Your Exotic Eco-Bikini!

Imagine wearing a bikini that’s so soft you feel like you’re naked & touching your bare skin. That’s exactly how I felt when I slipped into my new Brazilian eco-bikini by Nikster. Honestly, I’ve never experienced this much excitement when trying on a bikini as I did with this one! The super soft bamboo fabric feels velvety smooth as I glide my fingers across it. And the fit, the fit’s another thing that pleasantly surprised me! It can be tricky to find a well fitted suit, but my sexy two-piece securely hugs my sensual curves without creating unattractive bumps or rolls. You know what I’m talking about …does the phrase, “muffin top” ring a bell?

Award winning designer Nikki Sayavanh, has definitely created a swimwear line that goes beyond your “traditional” bikini. Nikki uses high quality, durable fabrics such as bamboo, soy, and organic cotton blended with a bit of spandex. Some of her designs are carefully hand-finished through macrame stitching, embroidered beads, and hand-painting. The accessories she uses are made with coconuts, bamboo, shells, pearls, stones, wood, recycled metals, and other hand-selected tropical elements from around the globe.

Some of you may still be wondering what the difference is between Brazilian & traditional bikinis, right? Take a look at the picture below, it'll help explain it…

See the difference? The Brazilian bottoms are skimpier. They cover far less booty than the traditional bottoms most of us are accustomed to. One of the benefits to these barely there bottom is that they’re perfect for tanning.

Keep an eye out for me in Central Park or at the beach in my luxurious Nikster eco-bikini. I’ll be the tall sexy thang walking around in a black bandeau style top with delicate, leopard ruffle trim & removable straps. You'll also see my lovely lady lumps strutting in my Brazilian cut bottom with tie string sides and the same ruffle trim in the front & back. I know without a doubt that this exotic eco-bikini is going to be a crowd pleaser.

WOW - When they say Nikster represents, “the sexier side of green,” they really mean it!

A Revitalizing Organic Salve that’ll Kick Exhaustion

Do you ever feel like you’ve reached the point beyond exhaustion? You’re so tired that you can’t think straight or even walk a straight line for that matter? Steer clear of the cops. They may think you’re drunk! It seems hard to believe that you can be that tired & loopy, but it’s definitely possible. In fact, that’s how I felt & looked this evening after a long day of meetings. My body was beat. I could barely keep my eyes open on the train as I trekked back to the Upper East Side. I’m embarrassed to admit that I even jumped on the bus to ride it 1 block closer to my apartment! Pathetic, I know, but my energy level had hit rock bottom. All I wanted to do was curl up in bed and sleep. A lot easier said than done unfortunately. Why you wonder? Well if I went to bed early I’d just continue my cycle of procrastination and my “to do” list would never shrink. Clearly I had hit a fork in the road. I had two choices to decide between…

1) I could hit the sack early; catch some much needed zzzzs, and wake feeling refreshed.

OR

2) I could grab my trusty container of Buddha Nose I Booster Salve, rub it on my body, and feel my spirit re-energized and my fatigue vanish.

Hmmm…You probably thought I’d just choose sleep, but I knew I could catch a 2nd wind if I caught a whiff of the I Booster Salve. Amy Galper, the creator of Buddha Nose’s certified organic luxury beauty products, created the I Booster Salve with the intent of waking people up when they’re feeling fatigued. Let me tell you, she knew what she was doing when she created this spicy energizing salve. By combining the stimulating essential oils of clove, cinnamon, t-tree and patchouli amongst a few other ingredients, Amy came up with the winning combo to kick fatigue & provide a topical to protect against colds & flu.

As soon as I popped off the top of my Buddha Nose tin and began rubbing the salve on my neck, shoulders and wrists, I could feel my mind & body come alive. The exotic smell of earthy spices perked my senses and awakened my spirit. I no longer felt sluggish and uninspired. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I think the I Booster Salve gives me that little jolt of energy so many others turn to caffeine for.

Check out Buddha Nose online or find them in one of the many retail locations across the Globe! Trust me; Buddha Nose’s I Booster Salve is the way to go when you need a lift. From now on, I’m carrying my Buddha Nose salve in my purse. I bet you won’t find me sleeping on the train now!

"The Queen" ramped it up @ the Eco BagTrends Arm Candy Party

Spotted - "The Queen Goes Green" made another appearance on the town as Sexy Sustainable Style attended yet again another highly successful eco-fabulous event. BagTrends, "your source for all things bags," hosted their first eco-bag "Arm Candy"party on Monday night featuring some of the hottest eco-handbag designers around. The majority of the designers were from NYC, but there was even a company there that's based out of Colorodo!

The Union Square Ballroom swarmed with men & women who came to support the launch of the new eco-fashion site, EcoStilleto, and take advantage of the great designer bag discounts. To make the shopping experience even more fun, free cocktails were served up all night. Plus, complimentary spa manicures & massages were also available to anyone who needed a little R&R between their handbag shopping frenzy.

I never had the chance to make it to the "spa room" for my free mani, but it didn't matter because I was having such a great time mingling with the crowd & talking to the different designers showcasing their collections. Check out some of the sexy sustainable pictures from this event & the gift bag eco-goodies I've been scooping up recently!

Bottom - me sporting a super sexy, waterproof Cork Design purse (ooo do you see "The Queen" next to my feet?! She took a timeout so I could play with the cork handbags.)

Stay tuned for more eco-events like this and learn how you can get your hands on these exciting gift bags.

Sexy Sustainable Style is wishing everyone a...

Happy Easter & holiday weekend!

Hopefully everyone remembered to use real grass clippings or paper grass in their reusable Easter baskets this year rather than that messy green plastic grass you pick up in the store.

Also, if the kids are still begging for more chocolate goodies - think about buying them fair trade chocolates rather than those cheap hollow bunnies. Trust me, the taste of the higher quality chocolate will satisfy them more, and you'll be supporting socially conscious businesses.

Have a great day!
