Going Ape for Shoes!

Now that you’ve found the sweetest Ecoist handbag, it’s time to perfect your entire outfit starting from the ground up. Let’s talk about shoes…OMG shoes…sustainable shoes.

Shoes are the heart & “sole” of your outfit. It doesn’t matter if you’re 5 feet tall or a 6 foot “Glamazon,” heels are the way to go when you’re trying to kick up the heat a notch. Now you can stand taller, look leaner, and feel more confident when you slide your feet into a pair of sustainable MINK heels.

Former model & fashion stylist Rebecca Brough created MINK Shoes out of a genuine concern for animal rights and the environment. MINK Shoes are custom designed and hand crafted from the finest quality NON-ANIMAL products. Only sustainable materials such as wood, rubber, cork, denim, and faux fur are used to create these extremely unique shoes. Even the packaging is recyclable and designed with handles to double as a bag.

Check out http://www.blogger.com/www.minkshoes.com and see what these sexy, flirty heels are all about. Buyers beware -- these alluring creations are not for the tame at heart. They are wild & fun! Don’t let the style names (pig, dog, horse) fool you either. MINK Shoes are 100% animal-free…Unless you’re the party animal in them!

Personally, I’ve been going bananas over the “Monkey.” These pumps are made from incredibly soft faux metallic suede and can be rocked with a sexy black dress or dark jeans.

Lastly, to all you avid style readers out there…you may recall spotting MINK Shoes being featured in publications such as WWD, InStyle Magazine, Maxim, Life & Style, Jane and more! Or maybe you’ve seen Audrina Patridge from MTV’s hit reality series, The Hills, strutting around L.A. in MINK heels? America’s Next Top Model winner, Adrianne Curry, has also been spotted striking a pose in her glamorous MINK’s.

Just wait to see what I have in store for you next. I’ve saved the sexiest piece of the puzzle for last!

Unwrapped Sweets

Have you ever wondered what’s really at the center of a tootsie pop? I recently licked my way to the chewy center and discovered an extra sweet surprise… a sexy handbag by Ecoist! Who knew that the sugary sweets we vow to give up every New Year actually have a dual purpose?!

Ecoist is a relatively new eco-conscious company that specializes in designing unique gifts and accessories. Their products are made from recycled materials such as candy wrappers, food packages, soda labels and more. In addition to using sustainable products, Ecoist is committed to planting one tree for every handbag sold! With the help of Trees for the Future, a non-profit organization, trees have been planted all around the world in areas that have been devastated by industrial development, natural disasters, and other causes.

So peel off those wrappers now and start munching. Who knows, that Sugar Daddy wrapper of yours may end up in Ecoist’s next handbag?! Don’t worry about that sugar high either…you can use that extra energy to surf what’s hot on their site at http://www.ecoist.com/.

While you’re there browsing, check out one of my favorite picks -- The OC. This luxurious handbag is the perfect emerald gem to make any outfit pop. It’s sturdy, strong and water resistant. A necessity for any city girl looking to have a night out on the town.

Stay tuned to see what to pair these fabulous bags with!
